I started this Advocacy Entity (Trans Rights Network) because I was assaulted at a Music Venue in Ferndale, Michigan and had the indignity of trying to open a Complaint with the Ferndale Police a week after the event (I didn't that night as the Assailants said they would end me and the Police Officers didn't care).
I am trying to help protect all Transgender Folks in Ferndale, Michigan (for the future) who are assaulted or such for who they are- the Police will hopefully allow Complaints after an Event which should be the case anywhere civilized.

CASE 1: Ferndale Police Complaint Process

I meet a contact when I was at the Ferndale City Council in the FERNDALE DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY who said she would be happy to assist with my goal of getting all Ferndale Night Spots to mandatorily have to call the Police is a Major Crime like Assault happens. She said the Autjhority has no power but the offer was very nice!

UPDATE 7-25-25

I was calling the City Manager about the Appeal for a Complaint I put in against the Chief Detective ( I missed the 21 Day Appeal Window) as that Office handles Appeal Stuff- The actual City Manger called me and said instead of an appeal- come in a see me and the Police Chief! Wow! The 45 minute meeting was great. They explained why they thought my issue wasn't Discrimination and how the Process of this case worked.

(1) They said the Chief Detective actually did investigate the case after a Phone conversation with him I had- He didn't give me the impression of wanting to look into my assault. I guess I have to trust what they say is true.

(2) Police Officers at the scene could do better- more profession I told them. 

(3) The Chief said they weren't on their "A" Game. I apricate him saying that.

(4) The Chief apologized for my bad experience. That was nice of him.

I don't know if I will continue with my Lawsuit at this time. Also debating suing the Concert Venue where I was assualted
